Make it University, and the Festival are posted on the Quilting Arts Blog - (Pokey Bolton is in the middle) http://quiltingarts.com/cpsmag/MIU/ChicagoMIUpictures.html
I'm still in Chicago with Judy and we've been busy making board books, (along with mini quilts, plans for aprons and felt ball necklaces). Anyway - Judy finished a gorgeous tribute to our Dad, full of Masonic symbolism, and her beautiful painting. this is it
Ever since I posted the first photo of Cheryl she just keeps popping up! Talk about photogenic - wow! Julaine is on the right and Debbi is the one wearing the apron that says Debbi - go figure!
Rosie , a fellow mixed media artist, stopped by and checked in on my fabric book several times Friday. Not surprisingly, it turns out she is an internationally known Storyteller, I knew when I first met her she was someone special - check out her bio~
We also met and chatted with Cheryl Prater, (who has a delightful sense of humor), and who appears here late due to lack of photographic material as i was waiting for pics to post to her blog! Hugs Cheryl! lol
The Artgirlz , another sister duo were so much fun, after meeting them i realized that the images on their collage sheets are them! I picked up some of the felted balls they sell to decorate and string onto necklaces - love em! The balls we're looking at in the 1st photo are actually Judy's larger version - made into xmas ornaments
Kelli Perkins was right across from us in the Cloth Paper Scissors Virtual Studio, she was making these fabulous little paper beads, (and very generously gave me a handful) I put three on a page in the fabric book I was working on - way cool! Be sure to check out her blog~ Other Virtual Studio Gals we worked with - sorry no pics~ the lovely Julaine Lofquist-Birch Debbi Crane and Virginia Spiegel
