Grammie Aprons

Well - I'm home now - i miss Judy already, but our last project was a very special one. We had the most amazing Grandmother, who of course always wore aprons while cooking fabulous dinners. So we made Grammie aprons - Judy got the fabric at Purl Soho - way cute -
she'll be here in August, if you have any suggestions for projects we should do let me know! Also be sure to see Jude's apron - Painted Threads

Poor Deb. Glad you got home safely. Are you in S. Portland area? Love the Grammie Apron. My Gram was a "housecoat" kinda gal.

Wow Deb! I love this apron!! All of those wonderful fabrics work so incredibly well together--the design is gorgeous and the trims add the perfect decorative touch!! I want one!!!!! Maybe it would make me feel more excited about the domestic responsibilities of cooking and cleaning--so relieved I wasn't a housewife in the 50's--I would not have fared well!!!

You asked for ideas for your next project together--how about pretty hand bag/shoulder bags!?
