Color Charts

I played with different brushes on each chart also. The red chart in the post below was done with a sable brush which holds more water, (I've read sable is supposed to the best). It made big wash puddles even though I dabbed some of the paint off on a paper towel. The yellow chart was done using a synthetic watercolor brush, and the blue chart was done with a cheap nylon brush.

I love those colour charts - there's something very calm about them, even in hot colours. They make me go - "I want to do that!" Very inspiring...........

My guess is water colours, but it could be gouache or acrylic as well?

Hi Deb, love your blog and these charts. I imagined scanning the charts, printing to cloth and using the cloth as a background for needle felting! And I do love your needle felting!
